Nora Lee “Tincie”
Grammier, 90, of Fannett, died Monday, October 28, 2013, at The Arboretum, in
Winnie. She was born on April 30, 1923, to Mabel Barrow Sullivan and Casey
Sullivan, in High Island, Texas.
Survivors include her son, Ben Grammier and his wife,
Julie; daughters, Tincie Marie Sensat; and Sarah Jane Duke and her husband,
Darrell, all of Fannett; sisters, Mildred Bland and Beanus Shahan;
grandchildren, Tracy Marcantel and her husband, Keith; Brett Sensat; Ross Duke
and his wife, Nikki; Marcie Sensat Comalander and her husband, Chris; Tilford
Duke and his wife, Shelly; Amanda Grammier Revia; and Casey Grammier; eleven
great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She is preceded in
death by her parents; her husband of fifty-seven years, Tilford B. Grammier;
brothers, Sidney Douglas, Robert Lewis, and Henry Lee Sullivan; and sister,
Eunice Edgar.
A gathering of
Tincie’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a
Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at Broussard’s, 134
West Buccaneer Street, Winnie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at
11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 9894
Gilbert Road, Fannett, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
