Martha “Mot” Johnson, 78, of Port Neches, died Tuesday, October 22, 2013. She was born August 26, 1935, in Bunkie, Louisiana to Leodier Cope and Willie Lee Robson, Sr. Martha enjoyed her church family and drinking coffee with family and friends. She will be remembered as everyone’s favorite Maw-Maw.

Martha is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Koons and her husband, Dennis, of Port Neches, Neda Hopkins and her husband, Gary, of Fannett, Jackie Lakey of Port Neches, Amy Johnson of Mauriceville and Donna Landry and her husband, Frank, of Port Neches; son, Henry Johnson, Jr. and his wife, Lena, of Buna; thirteen grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of fifty years, Henry Johnson, Sr.; sister, Neda Kizer; and brother, Willie Robson, Jr.

A gathering of Mrs. Johnson’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 24, 2013, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 25, 2013, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
