Allen Hayes Albritton, 79, of Beaumont, died Saturday, October 19, 2013.  He was born on December 6, 1933 to Addie Youngblood Albritton and Hayes Albritton, in Hankamer, and has been a resident of this area since 1960.  Allen retired from the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, where he worked as the plant training manager.

Survivors include his son, Ronald Albritton and his wife, Emily, of Beaumont; daughter, Phyllis Pickering and her husband, Terry, of Lumberton; grandchildren, Andrienne Mays and her husband, Joe, of Holly Springs, North Carolina; Joshua Pickering of New York, New York; and Shelbi Pickering of Lumberton; brother, Elbert Albritton and his wife, Ann, of Huntsville; sister, Elsie Albritton of New Braunfels; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Allen was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Lewis Albritton. 

A gathering of Mr. Albritton’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 21, 2013, at The Apostolic Church, 3333 Eastex Freeway, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at The Apostolic Church, with entombment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
