Martha Lea Ladd, 67, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, in Beaumont. She was born on July 4, 1946, to Ruby McConkle Henley and Jim Henley, in Amarillo, Texas.

Survivors include her husband, William Ladd of Beaumont; son, Christopher Ladd and his wife, Krista, of Chicago, Illinois; daughter, Daina Johnston and her husband, Richey, of Dallas; and Kathryn Hill and her husband, Stuart, of Baltimore, Maryland; grandchildren, Andrew Ladd, Nathan Ladd, Tyler Gall, Alexa Gall, Laci Gall, and Blake Hill; and brother, Ted J. Henley and his wife, Brenda, of Mauriceville.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ruby and Jim Henley.

A gathering of Mrs. Ladd’s of family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 18, 2013, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A celebration of her Life will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 19, 2013, at Christian Fellowship Worship Center, 3950 Pointe Parkway, Beaumont. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
