Linda Mae Stone, 66, of Kountze, died Monday, October 14, 2013.  She was born on August 29, 1947, in Akron Okio, to Carrie Florence Ferguson Croyle and Clyde Croyle, and had been a longtime resident of Kountze.

Survivors include her children, David Roden and Jeff Roden and his wife, Amy Smith, all of Silsbee; and Shelley Stone Sangwin and her husband Talyon, of Kountze; stepchildren, Rusty Stone of Las Vegas and Lee Stone, Michael Stone, Michelle Stone, and Tammy and John Holliday, all of Ohio; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements for Mrs. Stone are being handled under the direction of Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.
