Olite Marie Soileau, 91, of Port Arthur, was reunited with loved ones on Monday, October 14, 2013, at Christus Hospital, St. Mary, in Port Arthur. She was born February 24, 1922, in Rayne, Louisiana.

Olite is survived by her son, Charlie Soileau of Groves; grandchildren, Tammy Guidry, Gaye Smith, Nan Rocka, Benny Soileau, Scott Soileau, and Kelli Borel; fourteen great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren; sisters, Melissa Richard, Tootsy Benoit, Bonnie Tremonte and Bernice Rouke.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eval Soileau; sons, Benny Ray and Butch Soileau; daughter, Pat McGuffin; great-grandchild, James David Brown; brothers, Vernon Rouke, Eddy Soileau, Nelson Soileau and Heuber Soileau.; and sister, Bernice Aguillard.

A gathering of Mrs. Soileau’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 17, 2013, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves.
