Ms. Alice Gautreaux Richard, 81, of Beaumont, died Monday, October 14, 2013, at The Clairmont, Beaumont. She was born on November 3, 1931, in Morse, Louisiana, to Velia Romero and Erise Broussard, and had been a long time resident of the area.

She is survived by her sister, Jean Deptawa of San Antonio; three daughters, Judy Todd and her husband, Ray, of Hamshire; Helen Bearden of Beaumont; and Elizabeth Dale and her husband, Larry, of Lumberton; son, Russell James Gautreaux and his wife, Donna, of Bevil Oaks; eight grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren.

A gathering of Ms. Richard’s family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 17, 2013, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 9894 Gilbert Road, Fannett with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.
