Ruth G. Thomas, 94, of Lumberton, died Saturday, October 12, 2013. She was born on July 7, 1919, in Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania, to Helen Floy Stein Gregory and Harold John Gregory.

She was a life-time member of the Bloomsburg Chapter of Eastern Star.

Survivors include her daughter, Susan Ivey of Houston; step-daughters, Ann E. Marshall and her husband, Richard, of Carterville, Georgia; Mary Ferguson, and Margaret Thomas both Lancaster, Pennsylvania; step-son, Donald Thomas and his wife, Heather, of Houston; sister, Lillimae Frey of Fredericksburg, Virginia; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
