Francesca Marie Pizzo Day, 44, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2013, at her home. She was born on November 24, 1968, in Beaumont. Francesca was a registered nurse at the Army base in Fort Bragg and had previously worked in Afghanistan. Her beautiful spirit and loving attitude will be missed by all her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Jacob Day and his wife, Jewels, of Beaumont; Rebecca Day of Nacogdoches; and Eva LeGendre of Vidor; mother, Paula Dearborn and her husband, Tom, of Beaumont; father, Joe Pizzo and his wife, Bobbie, of Beaumont; grandson, Jude of Nacogdoches; her loving fiancé, Marty Martin of Fayetteville, North Carolina; brothers, Sammy Pizzo of Austin; Paul Christopher Pizzo of Dallas; and Stephen Pizzo and his wife, Malika, of Los Angeles, California; sister, Charlotte Amason and her husband, Michael, of Buna; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service for Ms. Day will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 7, 2013, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
