Shirley Jean Grimes, 69, died Wednesday morning her home in the Fairmount Community on Toledo Bend. She has lived here for seven years coming from Houston, Texas.

Mrs. Grimes is survived by her husband, James Grimes of Fairmount; sons, Robert Earl Grimes of Port Aransas; James Maurice Grimes of Houston; Carl William Anthony of Vidor; and Jimmy Kenneth Greer of Beaumont; daughters; Kathy Michelle Grimes of Houston; Penny Greer of Fannett; brothers, Tommy Fuller of Lumberton and Johnny Fuller of Vidor; sisters; Linda Coffee of Port Arthur and Peggy Fuller of North Dakota. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service for Mrs. Grimes will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 5, 2013, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
