Janis Rene Crain Middleton, 47, of Silsbee, died Monday, September 23, 2013.  She was born on December 2, 1965, in Kountze, to Ferrell Louis Laurent Crain and Charles Norman Crain, Sr., and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her sons, Mark Crain and his wife, Sabrena, of Evadale and Shawn Crain of Silsbee; grandchildren, Brenden Crain, Jesslynne Crain, and Jacob Crain; brothers, Clifford Crain and his wife, Mary, of Silsbee; Charles Norman Crain Jr. and his wife, Debby, of Spurger; Chester Crain and his wife, Jesse, and Richard Crain and his wife, Christi, all of Silsbee; sisters, Ella Russell and her husband, Roger, of Kirbyville, and Mary Jones and her husband, Phillip, of Lumberton; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Curtis Jenkins of Silsbee.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ricky Ray Middleton; brothers, Charles Ray Crain and Lee Crain; and sister, Sue Crain.

A gathering of Mrs. Middleton’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 26, 2013, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Cunningham Cemetery, Silsbee.
