John Browning Blake of Beaumont, Texas, passed away from this world to reunite with his wife, Denise Walls Blake, on September 18, 2013.  John was was born in Houston, Texas, on January 23, 1950, graduated from Texas A&M University, and went on to serve in the Peace Corps with his beloved wife, Denise.  

John was on the Board of Directors for the National Peace Corps Association, a lifetime civil servant with USDA-GIPSA, and an accomplished Rosarian and dog breeder.  He was an exceedingly kind and generous man, who will be dearly missed by large group of family, friends and colleagues. 

He is survived by his loving parents, Clifford and Mildred Blake, his brothers, Mike and Charles Blake, and a lineage of nieces and nephews who are all loved dearly.

A memorial service for Mr. Blake will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 28, 2013, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

John will always be celebrated for his lifetime devotion to generosity and charity, kindness and goodwill.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
