Gerri Riley Adair 
February 7, 1935 - September 19, 2013

Gerri Riley Adair, 78, of Dayton, died Thursday, September 19, 2013, at Liberty-Dayton Regional Medical Center, Dayton.  She was born on February 7, 1935, in Clark, to Vera Gladys Franks and Charlie Simmie McGraw. Gerri was a retired cosmetologist.

 

Survivors include her husband, Charles “Chuck” Adair; daughter, Kathy Jean Atkinson Kurtz and her husband, Calvin, of Kingwood; sons, Charles Rodney Atkinson and his wife, Trina, of Royse City and Mark Steven Atkinson and his wife, Lacey, of Village Mills; stepdaughter, Dawna Michelle Adair Louviere, and her husband, Clinton, of Houston; stepson, Charles Alan Adair and his wife, Jill, of Gonzales, Louisiana; sister, Sue McGraw of Silsbee; brother, Charlie “Buddy” Weldon McGraw of Kountze; and grandchildren, Justin Alan Kurtz, Kimberly Elizabeth Kurtz, Raven Rachelle Atkinson Sublet, Trent Aaron Atkinson, Shelley Elaine Geiser, Phillip Russel Geiser, Courtnie Cae Robert, Ryan Austin Louviere, and Shelby Nicole Louviere.

 

A gathering of Mrs. Adair’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, September 21, 2013, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.  Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 22, 2013, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Village Mills Cemetery, Village Mills.
