Sammie L. Bordages, 90, of Beaumont, died Monday, September 16, 2013, in her home. A native of Orange, she was the daughter of Harry M. and Eurice Hebert. 

Sammie is survived by her sons, William “Bill” Bordages and his wife, Mary, of Manhattan Beach, California and David Bordages and his wife, Cathy, of Ladera Ranch, California; daughters, Candace Otillar and her husband, Bob, of Houston; Suzanne Bloyd of Beaumont; and Eurice “Reecie” LoPiccolo of Houston; twenty grandchildren; and twenty-three great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William L. “Billy” Bordages; and her son, James H. “Jimmy” Bordages.

A family Rosary for Mrs. Bordages will be recited at 5:30 p.m., with a Christian Vigil to follow at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 20, 2013, at St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica, 700 Jefferson Street, Beaumont, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
