Carolyn Sewell, 71, of Beaumont, died Saturday, September 14, 2013, at The Oaks of Beaumont. A native and lifelong resident of the area, she was born on August 13, 1942, to Juanita Cook Goza and Ralph Robert Goza.

Survivors include her children, Betty Keller of Spurger; Jack D. Sewell, Jr. of Silsbee; Sally Kunk and her husband, Brian, of Kountze; and Michelle Clark and her husband, Jason, of Nederland; grandchildren, Brandon Kunk and his wife, Kristan; Jeremy Kunk and his wife, Megan; Shelby Clark and his wife, Brittany; Casey Clark; Korey Clark; Zach Clark; Ali Clark; and Robby Clark; great-grandchildren, Kiley Kunk, Hunter Kunk, Hudson Kunk, Hadliegh Kunk, Read Kunk, Quest Carmack, Kadyn Carmack, and Kourlyn Clark; brother, Max Goza of Bridge City; and sisters, Martha Boutwell of Vidor and Polly Lowry of Katy. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Gene Goza and Tommy Goza; and grandson, James Carmack.
