Steve Arrington, 46, of South Lake Tahoe, California, formerly of Lumberton, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2013, in South Lake Tahoe where his body was cremated.

Steve was born on June 5, 1967, in Beaumont. After graduating from Texas Tech University in 1990, he began his career in media advertising with DFW Suburban News. Steve later relocated to Beaumont to work for television stations KBMT Channel 12 and KFDM Channel 6 in advertising sales. From there, Steve moved into pharmaceutical sales with Sanofi-Aventis. He left sales and had been enjoying time in the mountains of California at South Lake Tahoe.

Steve is survived by his daughter, Claire, a student at Lamar University; son, Aaron, a student at Monsignor Kelly High School; parents, Sandra and Tom Arrington of Beaumont; brothers, Chris Arrington and his wife, Kim, of Irving and Scott Arrington and his wife, Carrie, of Kerrville; niece, Haley Arrington; and nephew, Will Arrington, both of Lubbock.

A gathering of Mr. Arrington’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with a memorial service and celebration of his life to follow at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 14, 2013, at Parkway Life Church, 1865 FM 3513, Lumberton, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
