Jone Ray Carruth, 76, of Lumberton, died Sunday, September 1, 2013.  He was born on April 25, 1937, in Kingsland, Arkansas, to Retha and Raymond F. Carruth.  Jone Ray owned and operated a service station equipment company for over thirty years. 

Survivors include his children, Celia Burrows and Darren Carruth and his wife, Andrea, all of Lumberton; grandchildren, Celena Hinton, Chase Burrows,  Justin Carruth, Bryant Carruth, and Matthew Carruth; great-grandchildren, Shae David, Luke, and Natasha; sister, Betty Kay Lawrence; and brother, Delton D. Carruth, both of West Monroe, Louisiana.  He is preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Betty Carruth; and sister, Lougenia Edwards.
