Rebecca Jane Eismon, 72, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, August 28, 2013, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. A native of Spencer, West Virginia, she was born on September 16, 1940, to Betty Rader Eismon and R. Blake Eismon.

She was a retired middle school teacher for Angleton Independent School District and was an avid golfer.

Survivors include her sister, Nancy Burns; nephews, Scott Burns and his wife, Jane, and Jeff Burns and his wife, Staci; great-nieces, Amy Burns; Kelly Burns Cowart and her husband, Jacob; and Bailey Burns; and great-nephew, Hunter Burns.

A gathering of Ms. Eismon’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 29, 2013, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 30, 2013, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont.
