Max Terry Williams, 57, of Kountze, died Tuesday, August 27, 2013.  He was born on February 16, 1956, in Beaumont, to Mildred Helen Williams and Max Williams, and had been a resident of Kountze most of his life.  Max was retired with Kountze Independent School District in the maintenance department and was a school bus driver.

Survivors include his wife, Catherine Williams; children, Danielle Guidry and her husband, DeWayne, of Lumberton; Skyla Gates and her husband, Jason, of Kountze; and Max Terry Williams, Jr. and his wife, Brittany, of Beaumont; brother, Harold Williams and his wife, Glenda, of Kountze; and grandchildren, Caleb Guidry, Corey Guidry, Paisley Gates, and Luke Gates.

A gathering of Mr. Williams’ family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., followed by his funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 31, 2013, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.  His committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
