What a sweet and special lady. We have missed her for some time but have such wonderful memories of her time with us and her gracious spirit. She always had a smile for all of us here at Some Other Place. She volunteered so faithfully to help to insure that those in need were served. What a legacy she has left for us all. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and our prayers. We hope it comforts you in some small way to know that all who knew Betty share in your grief. May you feel God's presence with you now and always. Paula O'Neal and the SOP family

Sheri MacDougall (Newport News, VT)

Aunt Betty-The family record keeper and story teller. I will miss sitting with you looking at old pictures and sharing recipes. I used to love to go to your house for lunch when I was a kid. You always had sweet tea in the fridge and pinto beans and cornbread. I'll be there tomorrow to say my good byes. Love you always...

For Mrs. B, who gave me the secret family recipe for cornbread dressing, told me stories of the ones who came before, and always had a pot on the stove that smelled great when you walked in the door...I promise I will always chop my vegetables in small pieces. I love you. Signed, The Moose.
