What an honor to have been able to fill a desire of Edna Mae's to have me sing for her funeral service. I thank God that I was able to be there and do that.
Edna Mae was a lifetime favorite of mine. We visited often when I was growing up and I stayed with she and Ferdie several times "on vacation". We always enjoyed being together and I have many fond memories of she and all of my deVillier family in Winnie. In our later years, we visited at AL-T's on my many trips to Houston for medical care.
You will definitely be missed by so many, especially me. You are now receiving the rewards of a life time of service to your family, your church, community, but most importantly, your profound love and adoration for Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Rest in peace my love. Tuesday, July 30, 2013 |
