I grew up directly across the street from Cliff in Groves. I've known him as long as I can remember. We went through school together all the way to graduating from PNG. We spent many a day of our youth surfing together at Mecom's Pier. He was truly a friend all my life. I never heard an unkind word from him. We grew up, went different directions and raised our families. Anytime we ran into each other, there was a story and we caught up the best we could. He was a warrior for God and always had a laugh in his heart. I will miss him in this world, but if I've done my part, he will greet me and we'll surf God's endless wave together for eternity. Brenda: You will never know how much we will miss John, our brother in law. I loved knowing that I could go to him with any question about scripture or world happenings and he always could help me or if he didn't know he could find out. Don't ever hesitate to call on us for any thing, day or night we are lays here for you! Love always, Joe & Ann

Brenda & family,
John was such a special person & will be missed by many. During your years at Living Water Church in Winnie, God gave John a special love for my oldest son, Justin. He became Justin's personal "prayer warrior". He kept up with Justin throughout his H.S & college years & even helped send him to Peru on a mission trip earlier this month. I am very thtankful for his faithful prayers over the years. If John could smile this much on Earth, I can just imagine his smiling now in Heaven. Praying for you all during this difficult time. Much love, Trini, Michael, Justin & Jarred Lezak Thursday, July 25, 2013 |

Clifford and I were good friends during High School and I never saw him without his smile. We would occasionally cross paths and visit for awhile. Whether it was walking at Central Mall, dining at Cheddars or worshipping at Cathedral in The Pines, he always had time stop and chat. We last spoke in January, and he filled me in on his physical battle he was going through and I was deeply touched by the optimism and faith he had. He was a great inspiration me. God Bless the family richly and my prayers are with you! Wednesday, July 24, 2013 |
