To the family of Miss Sydney Hathaway: first, I send you my deepest sympathy and pray for you all through this time of deep sorrow. I met your beautiful daughter and the first thing I noticed was her spirit. She was like a(n) angel amongst us. I wish I could have gotten to know her even more. God has blessed me and everyone else the honor of time with your loved one. As a Christian, I know she is with our Lord, Heavenly Father and the most Holy Spirit, a comfort that I hope you all feel. Again, I'm deeply saddened by this tragic period. With respect and may the good Lord comfort all. Sincerely Alex Martinez

My deepest sympathy to the Hathaway family, I met Sydney only a couple of weeks ago, she was a beautiful young lady. She spoke of her mission and how excited she was to serve The Lord. She told me she was going to Brazil a country full of turmoil, but she wasn't worried because if she was unable to go to Brazil The Lord would send her where he needed her. My prayers are with you. May God be with till you meet again.

Sydney was an amazing person as well as a great friend. We had our ups and downs but she clearly made a effort to go out of her way to make things right. She made a journal for us on my birthday and in it were pictures of us photoshopped into doing crazy things like running from Dinos :) she was the best and always happy with a smile. Sydney truly was one of a kind. She was bright, smart, brave, and many other things. She was an amazing person and she put smiles on everyone's face. Sydney will most certainly be missed but her memory will live on in our hearts forever. Thursday, July 4, 2013 |
