Dustin,

Even though we lost touch after I moved away in high school I have always thought of you as one of my best friends. I've known you since kindergarten and you were the first person to accept me for me. I remember your kindness well. You always wanted everyone to join in and have fun when we went anywhere. I remember getting my grandmother to take me out to your house to visit and play. (She always got lost on the way there). I remember meeting up with you and the guys to skate at the middle school during summers. There are so many precious memories of you that I have kept close all of these years it is hard to think of you as ever being truly gone. Even though you have gone to Heaven you have left all of us that met you with a piece of yourself. You will continue to live on in each and every person you have touched.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Dustin was one of the nicest, and most fun people to be around. I am so thank that I moved to Warren and got to go my junior and senior year with him. He was the life of the party! I definitely have some very funny, fond memories to hang on to.

Deborah, my heart aches for you, Terry and his loving family. I cannot imagine the heartache and pain you all are feeling. But, it is reassuring that you will see Dustin again, he is saving a place for yall in Heaven. Dustin's funeral was such a tribute to him, I know no words that can comfort you at this time. I am so very sorry for yalls loss and regret not knowing your fine young man. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. Love to you all.

I remember the first time I brought my grandchildren to visit y'all. They had lived with me for about a year, after their mother had left them with me and never returned. They were sad and scared and wounded. I wanted them to meet more of my family, so I brought them there. Everyone welcomed them and loved on them. Dustin had just graduated that year. He spent a lot of time with them one day. He played with them, he rode them around the yard behind the lawn mower for a LONG time; he helped them catch lizards, made them laugh. They ate it up; absolutely adored Dustin! I wish they could have had more moments like that, but we lived so far away. But I will never forget how sweet he was to them, when they needed love and kindness so badly. Deborah and Terry Lee; you raised a wonderful, kind young man. I know you're hurting right now, but I pray God will grant you peace, comfort and healing. I love you both so very much and I'm proud to have Dustin for a cousin. God bless you all!

Dustin was the best cousin anyone could ever ask for, he always had a smile on his face, and he could make you laugh if you were having a bad day. I'm gonna miss him so much, but I know he is in Heaven with Grandpa and Cutter watching over all of us! It's gonna take time for us to get used to him being gone, but he will never be forgotten. We will always cherish the memories that Dust has left behind. I love you Dustin! See you soon!
