Sister Oswalt, a loving, kind, wonderful matriarch! Proverbs 31:25 Strength and honor are her clothing: and she shall rejoice in time to come. Proverbs 31:30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. As a newborn baby and throughout my upbringing, Sister Oswalt sang a song "All The Way", keep me Lord in thy service, I'll be willing Lord to run "All The Way". She is now in her heavenly home, all the way! Some best memories are the many trips we had from buttering pans, picking out the bad peanuts, wrapping and bagging up the peanut brittle, selling thousands of bags of peanut brittle, asking as a 4 year old little girl "selling for Jesus from the Jesus Name Apostolic Tabernacle church", and then to experience the fun of the sleepovers, playing dress up, Sister Oswalt let Lequitta and I use her purses, trotting around in her grown up shoes! She always shared her last piece of Wrigley's Juicy Fruit and Spearmint gum with me! She taught me to be a servant unto the work of the Lord and to serve the Lord with a heart of gladness! My prayers to Bro. Oswalt and family loved ones. Monday, April 22, 2013 |

To the Oswalt Family, My sincere thoughts and prayers go out to all of you in this time of loss. I want to send this scripture to all who grieve-"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints "Psalms 166:15. Sister Oswalt was like a mother to me, a great example as a Pastors wife, an awesome cook, and she will be missed by our family. I have the faith to know that one day we shall all meet again, as I know that there is going to be a meeting in the air, Oh what singing you will hear, never heard by mortal ear, it will be glorious I do declare, for God's own son will be the leading one, in that Apostolic Meeting in the air! I hope to walk beside you on the street of gold, as we worship Jesus for eternity-Love Kalen Devillier and family Monday, April 22, 2013 |
