When I was working on my internship at the VA hospital in Houston, Joyce and Wallace took a young thing under their wing. I have never to this day as an old thing met someone with so much candor and honesty in their lives. I've always admired Joyce for sharing her heart and thoughts with nothing held back. She gave me the strength to speak for my Mom at her service even though she was so ill at the time. Joyce had the courage and the love to face anything I think that came her way. I will miss our wonderful Christmas cards but I know she is with our Lord now. To all of the family, have peace that she is with Him.My love to you all...Leah Sunday, March 17, 2013 |

Julie, I am so sorry to hear about your mother's passing. I have been thinking of you and your family and praying for your peace and comfort. You gave her such a gift by being there for her throughout her treatments and supporting her. She was a lovely, accomplished woman and I hope your wonderful memories will comfort you in the days to come. Blessings to you and your family. Nita Sunday, March 17, 2013 |
