Tri and I met at Sam Houston State University and instantly became good friends. We were both part of a great group of guys that had great times together. He was one of the most genuine individuals I've ever had the pleasure of being around. If I had a nickel for every time he made me laugh, I`d be a wealthy man. Tri...I wish I had not let life`s "stuff" get in the way of going to Austin to see you, like you suggested. I guess I thought there would always be time. Lesson learned. You are missed, my friend. My condolences to the family of Tri Portier. All i can say is that the time I spent with Tri in college and beyond taught me that being positive and fun loving was an attribute that was priceless. He will be missed more than you know. GOD BLESS Tuesday, February 26, 2013 |
