Marilyn, let me add also you truly were an awesome Mother to Jason, Greg, Kelli and Justin. You stepped right in and became such a great Mother to Jason and Greg. It was so much fun to be with these children with so much laughter in your home. All the wonderful memories I will always treasure. This page isn't large eough to share all the fun things these kids did to make an impression on your heart. I suppose Justin saying he got his behind burned at school was the best. This never happened because he was the perfect student but he just wanted to be a big boy like he had heard from someone who did have their behind burned at school. I wont mention any names. This was just too funny to never forget. Jason, tattled on his Dad to Marilyn was great. It was in regards to a blonde. Marilyn, told Jason don't worry son your Dad's good looks will fail him one day. How could anyone not ever forget that remark? Marilyn, we will see you again walk slow and wait for us. Love you my dear friend. Lots of love always, Charlotte Metreyeon Friday, March 1, 2013 |

I met Marilyn back in the mid-80's while working at the Beaumont State Center. She was such a joy to be around--just always a ray of sunshine! She and I had to make a business trip to Austin while working at BSC. We had a great time because she just always seemed to know how to make everything fun. My deepest sympathy to all of her family and friends. She will truly be missed by those of us whose lives she touched. RIP SWEET MARILYN - UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN. Tuesday, February 26, 2013 |

I was so sorry to hear about the loss of this wonderful, funny, generous woman. Marilyn and I became friends when we both worked as social workers at Beaumont State Center. I remember her as a kind person, who cared very much for others, especially those who were disabled or going through a difficult time. She was always fun to be around with a smile or kind word for others. I also remember that her friends and family were very important to her. You have my deepest sympathy and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Monday, February 25, 2013 |

To the family and friends of Marilyn my love, thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathy are with you as we honor a truly wonderful persons life. Marilyn, truly was a great daughter, sister, a wonderful wife and an amazing friend. We shared many hunting and fishing trips. We were there for each other when we had our last babies. One memory we shared together was when we were fishing with JP and the boat almost turned over. Marilyn put her arms around me pulled me close to her because I was falling out of the boat she whispered to me "Don't let JP know how scared we are." Thank you for all the wonderful memories two friends could share. Thank you and JP for sharing your children with me. Each one felt partly like my own. Marilyn, has been taken far away from her battle with her illness that she faced with dignity and grace. Now as she entered into heaven to be greeted with a big hug from Justin and Jason. What a beautiful sight this must have been. I love you JP, Greg and Kelli. All my love always, Charlotte Metreyeon
