I am proud to call Bill, the father-in-law of my son, Thomas, my friend. His guidance and words of wisdom to Thomas were important to a young married man. I know Thomas loved the no-socks rule in the Benning home.
To Mary Jane, you have my shoulder and prayers. May your strength come from the Lord.

I was shocked to read of Bill's passing. I had the pleasure to work with Bill at First City my first two years in the trust business (early 90's). Great guy, very friendly. I can still picture his, Joe and Shaheen's 3 offices in the former executive office suite. I remember Bill had a Mac computer with the fish screen saver - one of the first to have a computer in their office. Your family is in my prayers Monday, February 18, 2013 |
