John and Lee had many good years together. They were such good friends. I came in later and he was very dear to me too. Our prayers and our love are with you and your family. We're here when you need us.

Our condolances to you, Lois and the family at the loss of your loved one. We have known John since the early 60 when he and Herc started work at Pure Oil in Nederland. It was a pleasant surprise to see him on the dance floor after all those years. He will be missed not only by you and the family but the many friends, especially square dance friends from all over.
It is said that the spirit of those we love are never truly gone, the words they spoke and the love they showed have ways of living on in our memories. God speed,
Herc & Mickey Rogers

Lois,
I am deeply saddened to see John's passing. He was a good friend for many years, and I always enjoyed square dancing with you and him. He showed compassion for others in times of trouble, and the ability to boost their spirits. My deepest sympathies are with you and the rest of his family. Wednesday, January 23, 2013 |

This is such a shock, after our last reunion I had the pleasure of having a meal with him and his wife at a local pancake house. It was so much fun seeing him again. Johnny and I were square dance partners in grade school. I remember his laughter and fun loving ways. He will be missed at our next reunion. Wednesday, January 23, 2013 |

I am so sad to hear about John passing. I visited with him often where I used to work. He loved his family and enjoyed life. May his family be blessed by their faith at this time. Wednesday, January 23, 2013 |
