We were blessed to have George and Bertie as our neighbors. They were both wonderful to our children. The vegetables from George's garden and the gardening knowledge he shared with me were so appreciated. I have many fond memories of them including sitting on the front porch with Bertie and getting updated about what was going on in the neighborhood. I have missed them very much since we moved.
