I didn't know that he had passed away....we send our prayers....last time I saw Leroy was when he work at a local credit union....I met him thru my mother Dorothy Roberts...when she worked at Thompson's Florist...many many many years ago...always smiling...always friendly...he will be missed...and always in our memories...the pratt family (bobbi roberts)

From me & my brothers & sister, Leroy was a Good Man, he served in many areas for our country, I had the honor of knowing him as I grew up, my mother & father were good friends & he will probably be buried within feet of them, there are many memories from the American Legion. I live across the street from Leroy. I would put his paper by
his door in the morning. He finally figured out I was the one
putting it there and he became one of my favorite people. He
had a great since of humor and was a very caring person.
I will miss him going to the mail box with his hat sitting on his
head. I will miss the calls telling me his going to Alvin.

I knew Leroy many years ago when he served on the
Board of Directors of the Nederland Senior Citiz. Center, I was director at the time. Leroy, always has a smile that flashed when he gave a hardy laugh. My thoughts are with you during this time. Know that he is at peace now. God Bless.
