Bill Leger was first and most imporantly, a great family man. But in his career at channel 6, he was a great anchor and reporter. He kept his opinions on politics and policy to himself... you could not figure out if he were liberal or conservative, and that is what a journalist is supposed to do (although most do not). He will be missed a lot of people.

We did not know Bill personally; however, we felt like he was our next door neighbor. We truly enjoyed watching and listening to his reports. We were so shocked when we heard the news.
