I was so sad when I heard that Gary had passed away. He was such a kind and caring man and I know he will be truely missed. I have such good memories of him and from time to time I would run into him and he would talk about his family. I remember all the great halloween parties at your house, what fun we all had. We sure enjoyed being at First Baptist with yall. My love and prayers for you and your family.

Laura and Family,
I am blessed to have known Gary. I cannot think of a moment ever when he was less than kind and honest. He truly had a heart for people and often blessed our little ones at China Elementary - I will not be able to see a Santa without thinking of Gary. Our little guys were convinced he was Santa! When I saw Gary at school functions or board meetings, he would catch me up on all his girls and their families. He loved you so. My prayers are with you all. And though our hearts are sad, I cannot help but smile at the great reunion we will have one day when we join our loved ones. We serve a wonderful Lord, and He is able.
