Well brother-in-law, you have fought a long, hard battle, may you rest in peace in the presence of God and Jesus by your side!
John, I am thankful that you are no longer suffering, no longer being aggravated because your body wouldn't do what you wanted it to. You have been an active person all of your life and I could see the turmoil in your face.
You have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have always admired your work ethic, competitiveness & determination. Your sense of humor and argumentative nature will be missed! Never a dull moment when you were around! You worked hard and played hard, just the way life is suppose to be. You have left so many memories and been a part of many good times!
Thank you for taking care of my sister and being such a wonderful provider for her, Randy & Mike. You took care of your business to the end, everything being in place, always looking out for Sissie and her well-being. Your family has been truly blessed!
You are loved and will be missed by many!
Until we meet again,

Dear Uncle John,
You have always brought smiles to the faces of those around you! Your sense of humor and endearing love for family will always be remembered and felt. We know God has recieved you with open arms and that you are already at peace in his special kingdom. We mourn our loss, but rejoice in the fact that another brother has been called to his eternal home. We wait patiently for our calling so that we can all be reunited once again as a family, however until then, I ask that you watch over Aunt Sissie and, in turn we will hold her close and comfort her through this difficult time. God bless you and keep you!
With love,
Aaron, Brittany & Logan The Pope Family Sunday, December 2, 2012 |
