Dear Mom, I think the most that I will miss is our late night talks. You were always so worried when I would work nights and have to drive home from Groves. You would call me or I would call you and we would talk the whole way home. Please let mama and pawpaw know that I miss them till my heart hurts as it does now for you. Let grandma know that everytime I smell vegies sautee I am 10 years old and waking up to that smell on Thanksgiving morning or Christmas morning. Let grandpa know that he was the best grandpa ever. I remember fishing with him and he would tell me to be quite the fish could hear me, really? Tell Molly hello that I miss our gossip telephone calls. If you see a red head girl name Sarah, tell her I love her too! Most of all I will miss you! You were a good mom, and grandma. You were always trying to do what you thought best. I remember when I got my job at the law firm you were so proud of me, then when we bought a home again you were so proud, then my latest adventure of starting my own little business you were proud, it made me happy that I could make you happy. Then when I traveled you were so excited about that,. You never were able to travel so when I would go to Europe it was like I was traveling for the both of us, except for time I went to Egypt you were so worried about me, but we had fun! Lets not forget the time I met Hilliary Clinton you were over the top excited for me. So with that being said this is not goodbye I will end this like we did our conversations "I'll talk to you later, love you, bye." Thursday, November 15, 2012 |

Oh Marie, how I will miss running into you and have chit-chat sessions at the grocery store, or where ever we were. We did a lot of remminicing. I especially remember the Christmas Eve at the apartment off of Dugat Road. We had a few drinks with your girls, and your grandkids were all there. We drank , cut up and laughed until we nearly wet our pants, and bellies were sore. Them were some of the good old days. Then you came to AL-T'S, and we started up some more good memories. There will not be anymore days to make memories, but those memories we did make, will never be gone. Love and will miss you.Sweet Dreams, my Lady. For Debbie, Liza, and gr. and grt. grandchildren, your mamma and grandma was a very WONDERFUL and CARING LADY!!!!! She will miss you as much as you all will miss her. My prayers and thoughts are with and for you all. God Bless You. Murlene Ortego Blanchard Wednesday, November 14, 2012 |
