To the Family, This was a woman that carried herself with dignity and respect. A woman, mostly as a single parent that pushed all 5 of her siblings to reach the ultimate dreams of education by pushing all of them to become the first and only black family from the Winnie Stowell community and area to all be college graduates, which today stands as a goal and dreams of excellence and academic achievements. Prayers to the family and to a woman who is considered a Black Pioneer of the Stowell community. RIP. Wednesday, October 24, 2012 |
