Mom, Sis, and Boys,
I had the pleasure of being one of Bart's close friends over the years and had MANY wonderful times with him. He will be missed by all of us and I will cherish the fun childhood and adulthood memories. I am certain he would want us to celebrate his life now and remember all those GREAT days we shared.
God Bless

Bart will be greatly missed. As a true and genuine Friend who never ceased to make us laugh, he made even the difficult times somewhat bearable. Bart was the epitomy of an 'old soul' who was always real, always stated his opinion (regardless of whether anyone agreed with him) and was always there for his long-time friends, no matter what the scenario. One of his greatest, and proudest achievements was no doubt his two sons. We always said that Grant was his 'mini me' and although we haven't seen Stephen lately, I have no doubt that the resemblance would be alarming. We've seen Bart through many years, at least twenty-five. In that time there were several relationships, several careers, several apartments and even a few different Bulldogs. But one thing never changed....his Family. His family was definitely his support system, even when he didn't agree with everyone, all the time, he loved each one of them and they loved him. We will never forget the impression he will leave on this Earth through his friends Karl, Dustin, Kelly, Johnny, Ranson, Albert, Chris and Rick, his family, and especially his sons. God Bless each and every one of you. You will always be close to our hearts and in our prayers. Chase and Cathy, Kylie, Brode, and Lexie Friday, September 21, 2012 |

I am truly sorry for your loss. Bart was an amazing part of our HOOTERS Family. Things will not be the same without him. He was a breath of fresh air for all of us. Amazing sense of humor, and a ball of energy! I still look for him to come through the door every day at 4. My thoughts and prayers go out to his boys and family. We will truly miss you Bart!

Bart was my step dad for a few years. I was the daughter he never had. He loved me like his own. He would call me all the time and tell me how much he loved and missed Stephen and Grant and he wished he could be with him more. He was a great person, and he died too soon. I know that Bart wouldn't want us to grieve about him, he'd want us to keep living our lives and loving each other. My prayers go out to his family but most importantly, Stephen and my brother Grant. He is and always will be watching over them. Bart will be dearly missed! R.I.P. -Love Cailey Thursday, September 20, 2012 |
