Vesta and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Uncle Marvin holds a special place in my heart. I always loved how whenever I spoke to him on the phone he always started the conversation with a joke. Even before saying hello. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Vesta, so sorry to hear of Marvin's passing. Simply put. he was a great guy with the most infectious smile of anyone of anyone I've ever met. If the rest of the world was a Marvin, we would be in a lot better shape. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Vesta and Danny....what a great guy Marvin was. Who could ever forget his wonderful sense of humor, his hearty laugh, and his love of practical jokes! Couple those characteristics with his "soft touch" personality and you have one of the greatest people I've ever known. He was the leader of the pack when we all holed up in the studios for Rita and the aftermath. He was always the first one up and was always the cook. I'll miss his wit, his great personality, and his generous nature who loved all his friends wholeheartedly. I am saddened by your loss. One final note: Thank you, Marvin, for the service to your country. You and your comrades were truly "the greatest" generation. So long, ol' friend!

Vesta and family: I am so sorry to see Marvin has passed away. I always loved him. What a sweetheart. Vesta, the two of you were always my heroes. You always seemed to make things work out in spite of the crazy business we were in. I can't tell you how often I would pass groups on motorcycles and wonder if you might be among them.
