Dear Bourdier Family, I am so sorry the world has lost Terry. He had such a profound impact on me as a classmate at LSU. Knowing him enriched my life immeasurably. He taught me so much about humor, spontaneity and the joy of life. We pulled many a prank together, some of which are still talked about. Larry, Combat, JG and I were his young "disciples" and he led us on a joyous journey. He will be deeply missed.....Joel Timm

So many Bourdier stories - so little time. He was a precious gift to us all and will be missed. Rest in peace, my friend. Thursday, September 6, 2012 |

Karen and family, I'm saddened by the news of Terry's passing but I know he is leading the heavenly choir tonight with his musical talents he holds. I had Terry as a band director in Dayton and he was a fun-loving,caring guy who always had a humorous story of some sort. He would sometimes stop the band in mid-stream to tell a joke or a story that had come to mind and then get right back to business. I know you will miss him greatly but I pray for you to receive God's comfort as you read what he meant to everyone. I knew you meant the world to him when he introduced you to me at the LogOn Cafe a couple years ago...I saw the twinkle in his eyes! Geaux Terry, Heaven awaits! Thursday, September 6, 2012 |

To Karen and The Bourdier Family,
My deepest sympathy and prayers go to you on your loss. Mr. Bourdier as we knew him, was a wonderful man who made music exciting. I'll never forget my first football game, I spent more time watching that exciting man direct the band then the team play. I couldn't wait to join band and play. Mr. Bourdier always had an encourging word for you. He and Mr. Stewart made music fun and enjoyable. Heaven has truly gained a Great Talent and a Great Man. Thursday, September 6, 2012 |
