Working on the job with Robert when we both were young, I remember him as a handsome guy, friendly and quiet-spoken, willing to help anyone in any way he could.
Drag-racing with him at midnight on what we all called Rubber Plant Road, I remember him driving that fast, black, two-door hardtop '57 Chevy with a vengeance and taking no prisoners.
My sympathy and deepest condolences go out to the family at this sad time. Saturday, August 25, 2012 |

Annette, so sorry to hear of Robert's passing. He was a good friend from my earliest memories. I think we even started First Grade together and I think he was also in FBC of Port Neches where I also grew up. I always considered Robert a good friend and when we were younger we had lots of fun times together playing ball, birthday parties, etc. since we were all in the same small group. I remember he was one of the first of our age to get a Cushman Motor Scooter and I even think he took me for a ride. Seems like I also remember he was left-handed and had one of the earliesst First Base Mitts I ever saw. Praying for your family in your time of grief! Friday, August 24, 2012 |

Annette, so very sorry to hear of Roberts passing. Our prayers are with you and your family. Robert was just one of the good guys and was a good friend all thru high school. He did love his cars and playing pool in our younger years. Our best to you and all of your family. God bless you all. Thursday, August 23, 2012 |
