Charlotte Scottino (Pflugerville, TX)

Dear Madelyn,
Back on Aug. 20th when you called me to tell me your Dad had passed, my heart and prayers were with you. And as you prepare for his memorial You, Your Family and all of your Dad's Friends are in my heart and prayers.
Here is a short phrase from the book "Wings of Silver" that I would like to share with you. "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the Faith; henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing."
Love you,
Charlotte

Dale McCutchen (Spearman, TX)

JD will always be in my heart. He was the first person to ever take me fishing. As a result of that, fishing is a true love of mine, and I will take others anytime they want to go, because of the influence he gave me, Thanks JD!

The Bakers (Orange, TX)

As part time neighbors for 35 years, JD was much more than a friend. He was part of the family. During our visits to the lake JD was always part of any and all activities, unless it interfered with Friday and Saturday night dancing. On dance nights we would have to eat at 5:00, after he gave the blessing. JD was like that, for the most part, on a schedule. Coffee in his pajamas, dress for the dog walk, town dominos, then Senior Citizens Ctr. JD was a dear friend to all of the Bakers’. Every time we have our morning coffee in the rockers, or kick rocks around the fire pit, or have our afternoon beer at the picnic table, we will celebrate his life and those fond memories. We Love You JD, spin one a couple of times for us !
