Lynn,Gary and families,I was so saddened to hear about Nellies passing. When I saw her recently she broke out in song "The old gray mare, she ain't what she used to be" We had a good giggle about that! She was so dear to me and I will miss her very much.Thoughts and prayers are with you all.

The Welborns (Beaumont, TX)

Lynn, Tina, & Ryan
We are so very sad to learn about Nellie. She was a medical miracle. So much wrong with her health wise and so much more living she did. I remember her most for her snappy style of dress. Nellie's hair always looked perfect, never a hair out of place, and the giant diamond stud earings. She loved you all so very much. Especially her Ryan. Always at the ballpark during little league games and little dribblers on into baseball in highschool. I know she would have gone to the college games if they had been local. She would always say "thats my boy!".Her left handed pitcher, left handed just like her.
I always knew when it was close to 3:00 because she would always just pop into the office around that time with her Mcdonalds cup of coffee just to say hi and check on the family and do what she called "gotta make a block" But most of all we will miss watching the Cowboys with her. We will never forget the superbowl game watching this frail but very refined elderly Vogue runway looking model shaking her fist at the TV, screaming about a bad call the referee made.
Nellie was a steel magnolia. A southernbell & tough as nails.
May her memory be eternal, All our love to you,The Welborns
