Pat, I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear husband. He was one of the nice fellas at Holy Cross who would take a minute to smile at you and wish you good morning. When most adults don't have time for children, a child always remembers who the kind adults were. Even when they get as old as I am! You and Mr. Biar, Mrs. Hilda, and Mr. Anderson were so good to us kids in church. I will never forget the kindness all of them showed to me as a young girl. I have tried, as a bus driver, to return the favor. Lots of good folks up in Heaven this day, may Jesus love and peace rest on you and your family, until we all are together again. Love you, Shirley Kea Stagg Friday, August 24, 2012 |
