Chip and Family,
Your Father was such a giving man and I do remember his being so dedicated to The Scouts. I remember him taking vacation time to drive us to locations that wouldn't have been possible without his dedication. Thanks to your Family it was possible. I have you and your Family in my Prayers.

Denver graduated High Scholl with my grandfater from South Park High School. Our families have known each other for many years becasue of thier relationship. He was one off the two men who very strongly influenced me about the Boy Scout program. He was my mentor, and I always looked to him as an example of how to serve as a Boy Scout leader. Afew years ago, I restarted his Scout unit, Explorer Post 53. There is no way to measure how many others he influenced during his time as a Leader. Many young men that went through his program now have children and even grandchildren that were affected by him. He will be missed, but his legacy will live on for future generations.

We were saddened to hear this news. Our prayers go out to Gwen and all of the family during this very tough time.

Dear Knowles Family,

Gwen and family, I was so sorry to hear about Denver's passing. He was always so much fun. He was a Big help to the Trust fund Board of Directors.The last time I saw him, he wanted to know how to play Rummicue. He always seemed to have a joke or some got ya story. You are all in my prayers and thoughts.
