What an incredible role model Denver was to me as a young man. I'll never forget his bravado, sense of humor, red socks, quick step, and always positive attitude. I had the privelege of being in Explorer Post 53 during its best years and running lots of rivers and hiking lots of trails with the "Old Master", as he was often called. We have lost a great man. Dearest Chip, Becky and family....I am so very very sorry that I was not aware of your Father's death until this week. Your Father was a great mentor of mine and I truly adored him. He taught me so very much when I came to work with him at Warren. He was truly the 'Ole Master' and was always there for each and all of us.
We continued our friendshipment after Warren closed and I will truly miss him. He was such a great and wonderful friend and a true Gentleman!!! Tuesday, August 7, 2012 |
