Merry Christmas Daddy! It's been five months since you left me. It has not been easy learning to live without you. I miss you so much. You weren't just my daddy you were my best friend. I can not believe that you are gone. The holidays are the worst. I hope you like your headstone. We thought it fitted you perfectly. I love you very much. Missing you

Pops, Although you are gone, I will always have my memories and the comfort of knowing I have you watching over me. I will miss our long talks, of course me doing all the talking and as always you patiently and lovingly doing all the listening. I know I expressed this to you many times over the years, but just once more I want to tell you how very special you were and are to me. You loved and treated me like a daughter, never passing judgment when I got off track. I will always cherish the love you showed each of my children. You loved each of them as your own grandchildren, never once referring to them as step grandchildren. As a mom you will never know just how much this meant to me. No matter the circumstances nor the situations, you loved me and my children unconditionally, setting no boundaries. I will always cherish the bond you and Crystal shared. She loves you so much and she knows how much she meant to you. I also want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the love and interest you showed to Kris. He will always cherish your times spent together in church. He said, "Mom, I want to always remember Pops sitting in the pew next to me in church, because I knew Pops heart was rejoicing for me"..Each of my children loved and respected you and each of them has their special memories of you that they will cherish and hold memories in their hearts forever...You were my second Dad and now with both of you gone, I will continue to remember the love, support, guidance and advice I received from you both. Pops, this is not goodbye, because you live on in my heart and I will see you again and once again we can have our talks. .In the words of my kids "You were off the chain"....Love you Heaven is now your home with no more tears, no pain, and no suffering....Me and my children were blessed to have you in our lives and are thankful for our fond memories of you.
We love and miss you Pops....Deborah, Kris, Josh, Crystal, Dustin, Summer, Angie and all your great grandkids...
P.S. Dustin’s win was for you.....
