Dear Lin and Family I am truly saddened by Mace’s death. Mace was more than just a friend; he was an amazing person and I admired him dearly. He was always so kind and considerate to me, well most of the time Ha Ha. He always had a great sense of humor and liked to make us laugh. His passing will not only leave a void in my live, but in the hearts of everyone who knew him. Mace’s memory will always remain deep within my heart. If there is anything that I can do to help you in anyway, please do not hesitate to call me at anytime. I am always here for you and your family. My sincere thoughts and prayers are with you. With deepest sympathy, Matt Barela

I worked with Mace in the late 80s at the Cannon Air Base in the main BX. We were working in the health and beauty aids section. He was my supervisor, always very nice and friendly. One day he told me what to do, then said, "they" told me to test the condoms, how in he-- am I supposed to do that? We had a good laugh. He was so pleasant to work with. I will never forget him. My sympathies to you. Wednesday, July 18, 2012 |

Dear Lin and family, it is with true sadness I write this little note, Carroll will truly be missed by us, especially Joe, a fellow Navy person. Stay strong, be safe and know that prayers, hugs and good thoughts are sent your way. We missed him when you moved to the coast, and we will miss him even more knowing that we will not see him again here. Sincerely, Charmain and Joe, VFW 3280 friends Wednesday, July 18, 2012 |
