It had to be you....

I met a woman today 93 who shared with me her life's journey. Then out of no where you began to sing " it had to be you". I know you where there with me. I love you...

Grandmother,

I wish you where still here! I miss you more and more every day. I looked for you at my wedding. I just wanted to see your smiling face just one last time. I'm sorry if I ever let you down but know that I always will cherish and love you.

Love,

Gary and Connie Applebach (Houston, TX)

So very sorry to hear of the passing of Mildred. We both worked with her at Joske's while were were in high school and college. She was a very kind person. Gary's Mother Marjorie talked about growing up with Mildred and had many fond memories of their friendship. May the Lord be with you during this difficult time.

Ed Dix (Beaumont, TX)

Mildred was not only a dear friend, but was a mentor in a way to several of us musicians.. She was there with us for 4 years at Cody's , and when they closed , she went right over to Mackenzie's Pub & "sold" Chuck & Liz on bringing us there. That was some 7 years ago and when she could she was always there. She loved Jazz & the great songs of the 40's & 50's. Her favorite was Duke Ellington's "In A Sentimental Mood". WE'll miss her, but those memories with her will never be forgotten.
