My sincere condolences on the untimely loss of A.J. we worked together for Bud Fernandez in the Equipment room and he was always smiling always ready to help out and always ready with a good story and
he was a hard worker and a great guy to travel with on those away games

It was a great pleasure to know and work with AJ at UF. He was the genuine article and a consummate professional. I bet if you dig through his papers you will find a recently drawn-out plan for getting the equipment truck from Gainesville to College Station for the first road game--even though he retired years ago. He was just that dedicated.
It's a shame that generations of Gator managers will never have the pleasure of traveling with AJ.
